Organised by the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS), the Council of Europe and the European Union of Jewish Students (WostAYN), the Study Sessions are seminars that are designed to give participants the opportunity to experience and reflect upon the issues of active youth participation and national community life in Europe. It aims to contribute to democratic citizenship through active youth participation in national communities based on the values of civil activism.
The Study Session program will include activities, lectures, workshops and plenary about youth civil activism and democracy, human rights and minority rights, intercultural dialogue and participation.
Among their selection criteria for this Study Session in Budapest, the EUJS is looking particularly for youth, English and/or Russian speaking, who are active or interested in youth participation, intercultural dialogue and human rights promotion, and who are active members or leaders of an Armenian/Jewish/other minority youth organizations from Europe.
The selected participants will receive free accommodation and kosher meals during the Study Session, as well as a reimbursement for their travel costs.
